I was back again in my study life.
Let me tell you guys something, whenever i was in a plane, first thing, that i always do are open up the magazine in front of me. I think you guys can imagine it. Well, i will do some screening and try to find any interesting article and if it caught my eyes,i will try to understand it more. Amazingly, lost month issues, from plane that i boarded for, i came across with an article by Jose Luis Garcia which i think quite interesting.
Here is the paragraph; everywhere you go, you are immersed in a symphony of sounds, but you are probably aren’t aware for most of them.We live in a culture dominated by vision. We focus on what the eyes sees, subconsciously filtering what the eye hears so that we aren’t overwhelmed by all the sounds.
This article makes me think, example, in a study life;three types of student:
A: Student that usually focus on the power point notes prepared by their lecturer and take a notes.
B: Focus on what their lecturer says, and also takes a note from the power point.
C: Student that are not even taking the notes and use only their ears to listen.
Surprisingly, the ranking goes to student B, student C and student A. What a shockingly truth of the idea. The idea of listening is important as our vision. By using them both creatively, remarkable things can come about unexpectedly.
p/s- i should write more, but i think one example is enough, it’s easy to understand right? hmm….i should change myself first, haha, anyway good luck everyone, finished up this semester with flying colour with another module coming right up..*dedicated to all my friend*
